Featuring numerous upgrades not available at this price, the Sonamaster S2 is an excellent value and a step up from the Sonamaster S1. Using the same iconic S1 body and reversed headstock, the S2 is an instant classic. S2 Sonamasters are wired with a Single-Single-Humbucker pickup orientation and upgraded Sonamaster+ pickups contribute to a “hotter” response than the S1. The S2’s Alder body, paired with a Maple neck and Rosewood fingerboard, contribute to a sound that is strong and clear, full-bodied, with beefy mids and excellent lows.
